New Youth Centre Opens
Padre Paedo, recently relieved of his duties at St Vaseline-in-Chains has opened a new children's advice and recreation centre in Dickhead Street, Saltkits. (Moron page 15)

New one-way cistern for Dalry
After extensive consultations and several overseas visits, North Airshite Council's Planning Department, in conjunction with the Scottish Executive's Regional Traffic Thingie, will introduce the new one-way system for Dalry tomorrow (Saturday). Vehicles entering the town from Kilwinning, Saltcoats and West Kilbride will circulate clockwise between 6 am and midnight on even dates and vice versa on exiting the new roundabout between Courthill Street, New Streeet, Main Streeeeet, Vennal Strt, Sharon Street and James Street excepting national holidays when all traffic will proceed anti-clockwise as far as Bridgend and Tofts Crescent (Beith Road), where horse-drawn vehicles and tanks are exempt. Plans with large, coloured arrows are on display in the libarry.
